Members of the English Goethe Society are entitled to attend the Society's meetings in London, the schedule for which is posted to members each September. Meetings usually consist of a talk followed by discussion with the speaker. Before the talk members are invited to join the speaker for a glass of sherry.

The Society also organizes conferences, for which members are entitled to preferential rates.

Members receive the Society's journal PEGS (see contents here) three times yearly as part of their entitlement. Subscriptions, payable at the beginning of the calendar year, are currently 24 (or 12 for students), $50 for North America, and 35 for the rest of the world. Members of the Goethe Society of North America are offered a reduced rate of $40.
